Everyone can agree on 90's alt rock
Came into Richmond about 11 last night. Welcomed with homemade vegan burritos. Delicious. Met the guy who will be playing 2nd guitar for this tour because Andrew Duggan is not with us on this one, his name is Ben. He was a founding member of Black My Heart. hahaha. He's a good dude and he's picking up their material very well. Woke up around 9, showered and went to this place called Strange Matter and got a Monte Cristo. Marb Lights are 5 bucks a pack here. $5.18 to be exact...haha. The DC was good. Not the greatest turn out but I really don't care. The first band was not good at all and then screamed "STRAIGHT EDGE" for a really long time at the end of their last song. The second band was eh, it didn't really catch my interest. The third band was a band called Give, they basically worship Swiz. It was alright, the singer was kinda goofy, End of a Year didn't do too bad seeing that they had only practiced 2 hours tops together with the line up they have. I told stories about how I listened to the awful, awful rap group known as the insane clown posse, the jokers cards and how they were into God the entire time....LOLOLOLOL. Ben is pretty fucking nuts and I enjoy it. His stories are mind blowing. A woman at a hospital once misdiagnosed him with HIV and would have to wait until a certain clinic opened after the weekend was over. So he thought about all the fucked up things he would do if he actually had HIV. He did show me some pretty kick ass vegan pizza from a place called Duccini's in DC. really tasty. We are now headed to Philly for the night, we'll be staying there for the next 3 nights I believe. Tomorrow is Danbury CT, the next day is Chalfont PA then we start our trek to the west coast. I'm so excited to see the south. We are going to shoot guns in L.A. I can't wait to do that shit. Todays eats: Monte Cristo, wasabi chips, kombucha tea, vegan pizza, snickers ice cream bar.

Pre gaming.
After no sleep and wondering what the fuck is going to happen, I've left Albany. FUCKING FINALLY. Sean Doody is the funniest person. He told me every band he has on his ipod, if he had additional comments about each band he would make them, then he told me what bands he would listen to and probably never listen to the entire time. I could really go for a cigarette and a blunt. I've fallen in and out of sleep a few times now. We've talked about many a topic. What musician is best in the sack(we had to outsource to girls from everywhere to get a legit idea), so far drummers are the best, who our ideal/least ideal women are. Random stories just about growing up. These guys know each other fairly well. I'm very new to this. I'm not scared but I'm definitely a rookie compare to these guys. Just went to a Wawa, I love Wawa. Food for me today has been as follows: Arizona cranberry iced tea, beef patty, oatmeal cream pie, banana walnut mini muffin, carrots, celery, broccoli, cauliflower, Wawa lemonade iced tea. I need to get a decent meal in my stomach tonight.
And so it begins...
It's 1:45 pm on Wednesday May 12th. I'm leaving Albany for 30 days. 4 weeks. I'm in a van with Hans Leibold, Sean Doody, Pat Kindlon and Andy Rice. There's half of an oatmeal cream pie in my pocket. Healthy. We were supposed to leave about 3 hours ago, due to some minor van repairs before we left, we had been held back. My day started Tuesday morning...I knew I wasn't going to get much sleep(I napped for an hour and half earlier this morning) but I wasn't expecting what I was going to be informed with. I went by my grandmothers house to say good bye and that I'll be back soon enough. My grandmother had been suffering from vertigo recently. When I'm not working I'm usually with her helping her out. It turns out that there is a mass on her brain. Most of my evening was spent figuring out what I was doing, should I go or should I stay and be with my family? She told me to go. So here I am. All good comes with the bad and even though I mostly think I get the shittiest luck in the world. I left, hung out for a bit at home and with some friends, gathered my belongings together, smoked a huge blunt with my brother, Lacy and Chris, went to Night Moves with Pat, Andy and some fine specimens of the female gender, went home and just sat there. So here we are in a van driving from Albany NY to Richmond VA. I did a shot of moonshine with Mr. Rice before departing. He also has a blog going for this tour as well; http://youarebeneathme.blogspot.com, I think he has a weird man crush on me. So, I have a lot of time stuck in the van. Here are my days.
